“Loops” are used at Capitol Hill Tai Chi for the particular instruction of beginners so, with just a little instruction in Tai Chi postures, they can string together continuous movement to begin to experience the rhythm and continuation of a longer Tai Chi set.

The basic geometry in the torso and legs appears throughout Tai Chi form and push hands. Loops allow the student to repeat these movements in continuity for as long as they choose.
